The most non-PC named event of the year: Mental Oriental .
To represent the theme R.U.B. have chosen Chinese lanterns, ferns . . . and a dressing gown.
Oriental enough, I suppose; it puts me in mind of nothing so much as Kim Wild performing Cambodia on Top of the Pops.
Torture Garden showed much better taste with their theme of Turning Japanese a few years ago.
