I thought twice about keeping this, snapping as it does at the heels of the English Mansion's Winter Wonderland, but isn't that Maddy Magellan from the early Jonathan Creek?

Not to be out-done, TG have re-named their event . . . and produced a second artwork for it:

 

 

For now it's the "Winter Wonderland Ball". 

 

Yes, TG seem to have adopted R.U.B.'s policy of re-naming events (and creating a new graphic) between announcing an event and it happening. They even have two identical web pages for it. Or two addresses which link to the same page. The 'Xmas Ball' is now the 'Winter Wonderland Ball'.

Perhaps they should have done it the other way round; The English Mansion had already used Winter Wonderland for their festive bonus season by the 13^th.:

The title may be a mixed metaphor, but it's a mixed up world, oh shook up world, except for Alice.

Club R.U.B. reprise their Alice in Wonderland theme for their eighteenth birthday bash.

I wasn't struck with the playing-card suggestion for an Alice outfit, so here's a couple of mine:

Club R.U.B.'s 18^th birthday will be held on April 18! (See what they did there?)

 

Details have yet to be announced - they're probably sleeping off last night's Mental Oriental - but the theme is broadly Alice in Wonderland.
